Reindeer, Writing, and Parents' Visiting Day!

 
The students filled out their first job application this week to be Santa's reindeer.  We are anxiously awaiting who gets chosen, but I think they are ready to work!





























 Today the students began their next writing project, Compliment Presents.  Ask them about this.  They were so excited to get started!



Earlier this week, after reading about Colonial homes, the students used what the learned to make their own Colonial home. 






Thank you for joining us in our classroom for parents' visiting day.  I hope you enjoyed seeing what a day in the life of a third grader looks like.  We fit a lot in during the day!  I'm sure everyone will sleep well tonight!

Colonial Times and More Explorer Interviews


The colonists have been hard at work- learning vocabulary words, making costumes, and learning all about life during Colonial times.  Ask your child what they have learned!
