Spreading Kindness and State Reports

A great way to spread kindness, our third grade homeroom contributed over 100% for Lunches for the Hungry again this month.  I am certain this will make the recipients thankful.  Thank YOU for your support with this.

In literacy, the students have finished their research reports on their state.  The boards are in and they look amazing!  Now, we are practicing presenting in small groups.  The students have brainstormed the following presenting tips to help them:
1.  Be confident!  Have fun!
2.  Project your voice.
3.  Use expression and be fluent.
4.  Use eye contact.
5.  Take deep breaths to calm down.
6.  Use gestures and a "teaching hand" to point to things on your board.
7.  Make sure we can see you.  Don't hide...no matter what!
Their hard work is evident as you listen to them present what they have learned.  They are indeed experts on the state they researched!  When you listen to the presentations next week, I hope you enjoy hearing their voice shine through in their reports and presentation.  Just warning you, they are awfully cute!
